For more than 20 years, Stuart Lawyers have represented or provided legal advice to thousands of Australians. See the table below setting out some historical milestones of Stuart Lawyers over the years.  We are committed to the delivery of quality legal services in a professional and straightforward way.  We have offices in Sydney, Parramatta, Adelaide and Brisbane.

Stuart Lawyers have extensive litigation experience, having represented clients in proceedings commenced in more than a dozen different Courts and Tribunals in Australia, including several matters commenced in the High Court of Australia.  The litigation we undertake is varied and includes us regularly acting for workers in proceedings brought against some of Australia’s largest companies. 

Stuart Lawyers have also demonstrated its commitment to the community, having donated tens of thousands of dollars to not for profit organisations.  Further, we have provided pro bono (free) advice to union organisations and not for profit societies, and have made submissions to parliamentarians in respect to legislation.

The 1990s

1991

Alex Stuart, the managing partner of Stuart Lawyers, commenced his legal career at a barristers chambers that specialised in compensation and industrial law.

1993

Alex Stuart commenced employment with a national law firm and worked primarily in the area of compensation law.

1994

Alex Stuart commenced employment with a large labour law firm and undertook work in the areas of compensation law, family law and criminal law.

1996

Alex Stuart was admitted to practice as a legal practitioner.

1997
